Privacy, newsletter, and analytics
The weekly radar asks for your email and a confirmation. Page analytics run only after you opt in.
Claude Radar’s weekly letter uses the email address and language you choose. Regular publication is still being prepared.
Newsletter
We collect your email address and language preference so we can send the weekly radar in that language. We record that you agreed to receive it.
Submitting the form does not put you on the list. We send a confirmation email. The confirmation link expires after 48 hours. Until you confirm, we may still keep the pending request.
The confirmation email does not include an unsubscribe link. After you confirm, the confirmation page does. Later weekly letters will include an unsubscribe link. You can also write to hello@clauderadar.com.
We do not ask for a name, company, or phone number on this form. We do not sell or rent addresses.
Optional analytics
If you opt in, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits on public pages. That can include the page, device and browser type, an approximate region, and a cookie identifier. We do not send your name, email, or form contents. Page addresses are reduced to the site origin and path; query strings and fragments are removed.
The analytics script loads only after you accept. We do not turn on advertising signals. Google processes these events. Events are kept for 14 months.
You can withdraw consent in Analytics settings in the footer. Withdrawing also deletes this site’s Google Analytics cookies.
Theme and analytics-consent preferences stay in your browser.
Cloudflare keeps infrastructure and security request logs. Those logs are independent of Google Analytics consent.
Mail sent to us
Mail sent to hello@clauderadar.com is stored so we can read and reply. Cloudflare holds storage and inbound mail. Amazon SES sends our mail.
Cookies
The public pages do not need an account cookie. Staff sign-in uses an essential session cookie. Your theme preference and analytics choice stay in your browser. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics cookies are set.
How long we keep data
Raw copies of inbound mail expire after 30 days. Subscriber records and inbox records may remain until you ask us to remove them, or until we no longer need them to run the list.
To limit abuse we keep short-lived records of request time and IP address, and drop them within about two hours.
